6 Chocolate Tea Cakes

Give your biscuits a name and tell us about your recipe.

Chocolate salted caramel tea cakes. I followed Paul Hollywood's recipe found on BBC online. I had to purchase the mold. The cracker came together easily and tasted phenomenal. The hardest part was the marshmallow as I didn’t have a double boiler large enough, but I accomplished it by making it in two batches.

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

Adherence is critical!

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

Other than using fresh eggs from Wisconsin chickens, I went with the classic grownup salted sea salt/caramel combo found in many Wisconsin ice creameries and chocolate shops.

How did you do?
