Was your pie underbaked, overbaked or just right? What was your favorite part of the process?
It was perfect! I was cleaning out my cabinets and found a poptart mold/cutter and thought that it would be fun to make them and I was right! I think the most fun part was just reliving my childhood by eating the poptarts.
How did you add a Wisconsin touch to your flavors or decoration?
I think that besides the cherry filling, poptarts (for whatever reason) are a staple in Wisconsin bakeries. I see them every where. You can decorate them for the seasons, but I just left these plain with some eggwash on top and sparkling sugar.
