Happy Australian Father’s Day! Here in Australia, Father’s Day is a different day, so in celebration, I went with Jamie Oliver’s chocolate celebration cake and a Commonwealth favorite (and Australian staple) the sausage roll!

What was your favorite thing about The Great Wisconsin Baking challenge overall (whether you participated in one or all challenges)? What did you learn from this final challenge? What are you most proud of when it comes to your bake?

My favorite thing about participating in every week of the Great Wisconsin Baking challenge is that this was a beautiful and creative way for me to pay homage to my home state and to feel connected back to it again. Living overseas can be exciting but it also makes me extremely homesick. This was such a lovely way to keep homesickness at bay.

Did you incorporate three local ingredients into your Final creation? Tell us about your Wisconsin twist!

Being overseas, it was nil impossible to incorporate Wisconsin ingredients to my final creation. But I think that I incorporated my Midwest work ethic and embraced the challenge head on!
