Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?
The cookies themselves are not that sweet, so it wasn’t a giant leap to make the fillings savory.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
We really wanted to think outside the box, so we used Hooks 7 Year Cheddar World Champion Cheese, for a buttercream and topped it with a homemade tomato jam for a savory twist. We suspected that we might be the only ones to take this cookie into the savory side. Because we all know what a traditional buttercream tastes like, we wanted to do something more adventurous. In the end, the tomato jam was the perfect match.
