Black Raspberry Open Faced Danish. I made puff pastry filled with sweetened black raspberries and sweetened cream cheese. They are delicious but the folded in pastry dough wouldn’t stay together. They puffed right open!
Tell us about your pastry dough and final texture after baking. Are you happy with it?
I spread the dough making over a couple days. I don’t know how they manage the time constraints on the show! I never had a perfect rectangle, but it puffed nicely into its layers.
Detail how you added a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or presentation.
I found some black raspberries at my local farmer’s market. The ones I didn’t eat right out of the box were used in my cream cheese and raspberry filling.
How did you do?
