Chocolate Bread

Give your bread a name and tell us about your recipe.

Chocolate Cinnamon Swirl Bread – The yeast dough has 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Once it has proved to 3x the size, I rolled it into a 9×18 rectangle, and then added a brown sugar-cinnamon mix and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips. Roll it up and prove again, then B-A-K-E !!!

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

For this bread I adhered to the recipe however I have known to be a rogue baker (gasp!).

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.

The bread dough was rolled up (a kind of a twist?). All ingredients were purchased in Wisconsin, it was baked in a Wisconsin oven in a Wisconsin house, and was eaten only by Wisconsinites ๐Ÿ™‚

How did you do?

It’s not pretty, but itโ€™s edible.
