Flatbread
Give your bread a name and tell us about your recipe.
Cranberry Focaccia Topped with Bacon Gouda: The recipe called for grapes. It was in a book set in a California orchard. Lots of lovely food was described. Not sure if focaccia is really a flatbread. We couldn’t tear it because it was crusty on the bottom. The cheese browned on the top and it smelled wonderful.
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
I try to adhere the first time and then I may go rogue.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.
We added dried cranberries and the Marieke Gouda with bacon, both Wisconsin products.
