What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
I’ve never baked a sponge before, so when I took it out of the pan it fell apart and I tried to piece it back together, but it looks a mess. I also tried to make a blackberry jam for the first time and it was very runny. I’m glad I tried it, so now I know for the future!
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
I used blackberries and basil from my garden to add flavor to the roulade.
