Fairyland Ginger Spice Hut – I used a classic gingerbread cookie recipe which is easily molded over a bowl and baked to delicious crispness. We have a fairy village under the pine trees near the pond . . . which provided my inspiration for this bake. I needed to add walls inside to provide strength because the humidity softened the dough.

As usual, I used local eggs and honey, but I credit the fairy village with the final inspiration.
