Give your bread a name and tell us about your recipe.

Carr Valley Asiago and Blueberry Honey Bagels.
This was my first time making flavored bagels, so I decided to make my family’s favorite flavors. Carr Valley Cheese makes a great Asiago, and my whole family loves cheese bagels, so that was a no brainer. The sweet bagels are Blueberry Honey, local blueberries and honey are the absolute perfect Wisconsin summertime flavors. Topped off with a bit of cinnamon sugar, we ate them for dessert they were so good!

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

I love putting my own twist on a good solid recipe, go rouge, change things up a bit.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.

Blueberries and honey fresh from the farmers market were used in the sweet bagels. And for our savory bagels, local Carr Valley Cheese Asiago was used.
