Bridal Shower Fraisier Cake. I had never seen or heard of this cake, but it's so impressive; it would make a beautiful centerpiece for a bridal shower. Next time I'll make more marzipan decorations.
Tell us about your creation's final texture after baking. Are you happy with it?
It was great overall, but I think I overcooked the creme mouselline a little too much… it was a little stiff instead of being light and fluffy like I imagined.
Detail how you added a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or presentation.
I looked ahead and made this cake while local strawberries from Rice Lake and Shell Lake were in season. Of course the eggs and dairy products were all local, too.
