Strawberry Sunburst Lemon Tart. Picked a recipe off the internet and sent my husband to purchase a tart pan from the Hayward Mercantile. Never made lemon curd from scratch before, but will save the recipe. Invited neighbors over to admire it before we cut it.
Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?
Lemon flavor was intense, and overpowered the fruit somewhat. Next time will try a pastry cream when I have fresh fruit I want to feature.

Local strawberries in season, local farm eggs for the lemon curd and mint garnish from my herb garden.
