Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

I’m all for homebaked goods looking homemade…these were my first attempt at tarts and I was pretty nervous how they’d turn out. At a certain point I gave up having them be perfect and had a great time making them. They were delicious and have definitely been added to my go-to recipes.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

The one fruit that is synonymous with Wisconsin Summer is Door County Cherries. I made mini tarts with vanilla custard (made with Sassy Cow dairy) and fresh halved cherries.
