Raspberry Cream Cheese Strudel – Braided puff pastry filled with sweetened cream cheese and raspberry jam, drizzled with a powdered sugar glaze.
What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
This took two tries, because my first braid wasn’t tight enough and opened up during baking. Practice makes perfect!
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
Wisconsin is full of families with German heritage, and mine is no exception. I loved taking the time to delve into my roots and make an amazing strudel. I took inspiration from Wisconsin dairy with the cream cheese layer and the raspberries that are currently ripe.
