Everything Bagels with a Twist – I made a yeast dough and instead of the typical bagel shape, I rolled them and and twisted them before making a circle. They are topped with a homemade everything seasoning which includes poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and garlic salt.
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
I followed the recipe to a T for the dough but made up my own topping.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.
The egg wash was made from a Wisconsin farm fresh egg and the garlic salt in the topping is from Penzey’s Spices from Wauwatosa, WI.
