Give your biscuits a name and tell us about your recipe.
Olive Oil & Herb Crackers: Simple dough recipe of flour, water, salt and olive oil that I split into portions and flavored individually. Flavors are: smoked paprika/cumin/oregano, Parmesan/cracked black pepper, sea salt, rosemary/sea salt, Fox Point, and California pepper (both seasoning blends from Penzeys). The whole thing could have gone better…I liked the ability to customize flavors (the Penzeys blends had a great flavor), but I think I'll stick to buying them at the store!
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
A bit of both. I went a little rogue here and maybe shouldn't have, but generally I do a recipe a few times before striking off on my own.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
Used Penzeys spices and served with Bucky Badger cheese from Verona, WI!
