Matcha White Chocolate Mousse Cake. When watching this week's episode, my husband and I were immediately interested in Ryan's Green Tea Opera Torte. I did some searching online and found a recipe for the matcha white chocolate mousse cake at Home Cooking Adventure.
What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
I really enjoyed making the torte/mousse! The cake should have been made in an 8-inch pan, but I made it in a 10-inch pan so the layers are flatter than they should have been, but luckily everything still tasted great. It was my first time making mousse, and I learned how to make something new.
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
The cream used in the mousse layers was Wisconsin dairy. We had friends over, and most people had a slice of cake with an Old Fashioned.
