Pecan Kringle Challah. This beautiful braided loaf is filled with the popular Kringle filling, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, butter and pecans.

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

Rogue for sure! I am always adjusting and changing recipes. Most of the time it turns out better. Although sometimes I learn my lesson.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.

Racine, Wisconsin is the Kringle capital of the world! Our family favorite is the Pecan Kringle. Filled with pecans, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. I used that same filling in my challah bread. Sweet and delicious.
