Viennese Whirls

Give your cookies or gingerbread creation a name based on the flavors and decoration – and tell us about your recipe.

Badger State Cranberry Whirls. These are beautiful, light, buttery and fluffy sandwich cookies (a.k.a. biscuits), filled with a vanilla buttercream and homemade cranberry jam.

Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

Even after a long day at work, there is always time to bake. 🙂

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

I made a homemade cranberry jam and used that in the filling. They call cranberries "Fruit of the Badger State", because Wisconsin is the #1 producer of cranberries in the world.
