The Outlaws

Season 2 premieres 9 p.m. Friday, July 5

While performing community service, Bristo’s most unlikely outlaws have wound up on the wrong side of the law. Again. The money the group “accidentally” stole is catching up with them, and the criminal underworld is tightening its grip. Literally.

Rani manages to buy the group some extra time. There’s just one catch: They’re going to have to become drug dealers to earn back the stolen money.

VOCES

Season 5 premieres 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 9

Produced by Latino Public Broadcasting, VOCES features the best of Latino arts, culture and history and shines a light on current issues that impact Latino Americans.

Devoted to exploring the rich diversity of the Latino experience, VOCES presents new and established filmmakers and brings their powerful and illuminating stories to a national audience.

Hotel Portofino

Season 3 premieres 7 p.m. Sunday, July 28

Hotel Portofino is an exhilarating period drama about a British family who runs a hotel for upper-class travelers on the magical Italian Riviera during the glamorous Roaring ’20s but also under the dark cloud of Fascist Italy.

Bella is preparing for her father and sister’s arrival but is thrown when Cecil appears requesting divorce. Over the weeks, Bella must decide her future as well as avoid fascist leader Danioni. But with the Wall Street crash, things get worse as Bella and Cecil lose everything. Dark secrets are exposed during another adventure in this sun-soaked 1920s Italian drama.

I find using PBS Wisconsin much more complicated than necessary. I moved here from NYS and using PBS including PBS passport was a breeze. As soon as the first episode of a series was shown, all of the others were available for passport members to watch when it fit into their personal schedules. Navigating between series was simple. I found finding available shows a lot easier. I hardly use PBS WI because it is annoying to use. I definitely am not moved to donate more than the $5/mo. and may actually just stop doing that. There are loads of places where my $ 5 could be spent.

We’re sorry to hear you haven’t had a good PBS Wisconsin Passport experience, Barbara. PBS has shared that they have some plans to improve the platform, and we’re looking forward to hearing more about what they’re developing.
