Premieres 6 p.m. Sunday, May 4

Actor Alan Cumming embarks on an epic adventure aboard the Royal Scotsman, an iconic luxury train that promises an unparalleled odyssey through the majestic landscape of Scotland.

Throughout the four-part series, Cumming experiences the lavish VIP treatment of the Royal Scotsman, dives into the culinary creativity that defines each day’s delectable offerings and delves into the rich history and traditions of the destinations along the route.

Miss Austen on Masterpiece

Premieres 8 p.m. Sunday, May 4

Miss Austen on Masterpiece takes a literary mystery – Cassandra Austen notoriously burning her famous sister Jane’s letters – and reimagines it as a fascinating, witty and heartbreaking story of sisterly love.

The drama begins in 1830, a while after Jane has died. Cassandra races to see her friend, Isabella who is about to lose her home following her father’s death. Cassandra is ostensibly there to help, but her real motive is to find a stash of private letters which, in the wrong hands, could destroy Jane’s reputation.

Bugs That Rule the World

Premieres 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 7

Explore the fascinating world of bugs, their beauty and ecological importance. From pollinators and insect predators to the clean-up crews purifying our planet, scientists examine the decline of these essential yet least appreciated creatures.

The Office

Premieres 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15

Enjoy a brilliant and cringe-makingly funny “mocusoap” set in a paper merchants company in the heart of middle England.

David Brent is a lower-middle-ranking manager in charge of a lower-middle-ranking office. His workplace is the antithesis of TV’s glossy law firms full of bright professionals. Instead of mutual respect and intelligent dialogue, David’s office is a place of backfiring practical jokes, failed flirting and bad showing off.
