This October, the Wisconsin Life team embarks on a new season of adventures that will uncover and introduce creative and innovative people from all parts of the state and all walks of life.

Host Angela Fitgerald crosses the state to take viewers on a trip around Wisconsin to visit their neighbors and share their unique stories. The new season premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, on PBS Wisconsin.

New episodes will continue to air Thursday nights into January. Episodes will be available to stream each week online at pbswisconsin.org/wilife and on the free PBS app on all streaming devices and smart TVs.

This month, Wisconsin Life will visit:

Angela tours Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin in Spring Green, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Get an up-close look at where Wright worked, taught and lived alongside apprentices. Then, meet one of those apprentices who still calls Taliesin home and the story of an artist bringing a splash of color to Green Bay Packers game day.

Bookworm Gardens, 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23

Angela visits Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan, a whimsical botanical garden space where beloved children’s books come to life. Hop on the “Little Blue Truck,” board “The Magic School Bus,” discover “Where the Wild Things Are” or dive into the world of Dr. Seuss.

Two women stroll - 'Wisconsin Life' host Angela Fitzgerald on the right - through a lush field of blueberries, enjoying the vibrant scenery and fresh air.

Jelli’s Market, 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30

Enjoy Wisconsin’s berry picking season at Jelli’s Market in Helenville. This seasonal U-Pick farm welcomes visitors to harvest their own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, flowers or pumpkins.
