Velvet

Premieres midnight Saturday, Feb. 1

In late 1950s Madrid, the golden age of haute couture, there is one place everyone would like to shop at least once in their lifetime: the Galerias Velvet. This series is from Walter Presents, in Spanish with English subtitles.

Funny Woman

Season 2 premieres 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2

Sophie Straw is on a high. She’s a TV star and has good friends and a promising romance with Dennis. But, trouble is just around the corner. Will Sophie be able to embrace her real life and challenge outdated conventions?

Alan Carr’s Adventures with Agatha Christie

Premieres 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16

British comedian, TV personality and lifelong Agatha Christie fanboy Alan Carr is going on a very personal adventure in search of the quintessentially British places that inspired Christie’s most beloved characters: Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot.

Secrets of the Dead: Plunderer – The Life and Times of a Nazi Art Thief

Two-part series premieres 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19

Follow an investigation into the secret networks of curators and dealers who profited off Nazi-looted art. The decades-long war crime of stealing Jewish masterpieces has never been fully exposed or resolved.

    What happened to Velvet ? I’ve watched the first two episodes and now it’s not on ! Will it be back? Loved it

      Hi Linda – Velvet airs midnight Saturday into Sunday on PBS Wisconsin. During the third episode that aired Feb. 15-16, it started a few minutes later than usual. The show will be on pause for the next couple of weeks while we air pledge programming, but it is available on PBS Wisconsin Passport.
