Go wild at the Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center in Wisconsin Dells

Premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1
Adventure through the forest in Wisconsin Dells at Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center for an up-close look at the natural beauty found in Wisconsin Dells, while exploring outdoor classrooms and critters found in the waterways.
“The views at the Upham Woods were amazing!” Fitzgerald said. “I definitely underestimated the lumberjack strength required to saw a log by hand.”
Deliver goods at Plover’s Food + Farm Exploration Center

Premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8
Learn about agriculture in our state at Farm + Food Exploration Center in Plover. Marvel at the largest potato masher in the world and learn about farming, innovation and sustainability with exhibits and hands-on activities.
“The Farm + Food Exploration Center was a great combination of education and fun,” Fitzgerald said. “I learned about soil types, tapped into my culinary skills in their kitchen lab and played a few games like pinball.”
Delve into Hmong language and culture with campers at Cia Siab Inc. in La Crosse

Premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15
Become immersed in the Hmong Language and Culture Camp at Cia Siab Inc., a social services agency in La Crosse. Learn how the nonprofit’s revitalization of Hmong language and culture is tied to their efforts to support women, youth, elders and LGBTQIA+ communities.
“I enjoyed my day at the Hmong Language and Culture Camp,” Fitzgerald said. “I appreciated learning about their history and tasting the delicious fish they caught themselves!”
Gear up for game day with Superior City Football Club

Premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22
Let the match begin! Join Superior City Football Club, a homegrown soccer team in the Northwoods, and take to the field to meet the players.
“Despite the cold and rain, the Superior City Football club brought the heat and even allowed me and area kids to join in on the soccer fun!” Fitzgerald said.
Meet the animals at the Racine Zoo

Premieres 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29
Hop along with kangaroos, come face-to-face with a lion or feed a rhino during a behind-the-scenes tour of Racine Zoo. Right along Lake Michigan, this long-established zoo offers an up-close look at animals while connecting to global conservation efforts.
“This was my first time feeding a rhino,” Fitzgerald said. “It was an enjoyable and somewhat slimy experience.”
