Pass the hot cocoa and celebrate the holidays with your favorite PBS KIDS shows! Enjoy a nutcracker tale with Elmo and his puppy pal Tango, new Work It Out Wombats! episodes and a trip to Mexico with Rosie’s Rules

Catch episodes online, on television or streaming on the PBS KIDS Video app. Then, keep the fun snowballing with games and activities from PBS KIDS!

The Nutcracker: Starring Elmo & Tango

Premieres Saturday, Dec. 2 

After a family holiday party, Elmo and Tango fall asleep listening to Elmo’s dad read the story of The Nutcracker. Elmo’s dream sends him on a musical adventure with a talking Tango, and together they learn about the gift of friendship!

Keep playing after the show with the Puppy Pet Care game online or on the PBS KIDS Games app. Children help Elmo take care of Tango by feeding her, playing with her and giving her a bubbly bath.

New Work It Out Wombats! episodes

New episodes premiere Monday, Dec. 4 

The Wombats are headed to the Treeborhood parranda, a special holiday party, when their bus breaks down. It’s up to JunJun and Louisa to save the day with their problem-solving skills! Then, see if the Wombats stay awake long enough to see the acorn drop at midnight on New Year’s Eve!

After catching up with the Wombats, practice computational thinking at home. The Make a Paper Flower Garden activity engages kids in identifying, copying and creating patterns. First, cut out paper flowers in two different colors. Use them to arrange a pretty flower garden! Then, come up with simple songs to help you remember the order of the patterns you made. Rosie’s Christmas in Mexico

Premieres Monday, Dec. 11 

Rosie is spending Christmas with her abuela in Mexico City! When she forgets to get a gift for Abuela, she has to hurry to find one before their Noche Buena celebration.
