Celebrate ‘American Song’ with Concerts on the Square broadcast July 28

Celebrate the rich tapestry of 20th century American music with a stunning concert by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra (WCO) and Met Opera star Angela Brown (pictured above).

Maestro Andrew Sewell and the WCO celebrate American music as part of this summer’s Concerts on the Square series. “American Song” features works by 20th century and contemporary artists and composers.

This program shines with the brilliance of Brown, an internationally acclaimed soprano whose powerful voice and artistry bring these timeless pieces to life.

PBS Wisconsin will broadcast the performance at 8 p.m. Monday, July 28, with an encore broadcast at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 31.
