PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio announced today that they will present a broadcast of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Centennial Festival concert, recorded at Overture Center for the Arts. "Madison Symphony at 100" will premiere at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, on PBS Wisconsin and WPR Music.

PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) today released their first combined Annual Impact Report, presenting a unified view of how Wisconsin's public media services informed, educated and connected communities across the state during fiscal year 2025.

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show returns to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Sept. 10-12. Presented by PBS Wisconsin and Nancy Zieman Productions, the event has been an annual Midwest hub for quilters in Wisconsin and across the country for over 20 years.

The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show invites youth quilters and sewists, ages 15 and under, to enter quilts into the nationally recognized event’s 2026 Kids' Quilt Challenge. Entries for the Kids’ Quilt Challenge must be received by Sunday, Aug. 9.

There is still time to enter the 2026 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show’s 10-category juried and judged Quilt Contest. Quilters are invited to enter up to four quilts in the contest. Cash prizes are awarded for best of show, first-, second- and third-place honors in each of the 10 categories, and a viewers' choice award is selected from the entries by Quilt Show attendees. Quilt Contest entries must be submitted by June 30.
