WPT Premieres New Series About Wisconsinites and the Foods They Enjoy

Each episode of Wisconsin Foodie incorporates travel, food and cooking in a program that aims to connect Wisconsinites in a unique way to what they eat. The program travels to farms and kitchens throughout the state, taking viewers behind the scenes to see where the foods they eat come from, how they are prepared and to meet those doing the cooking. Wisconsin Foodie highlights chefs, food growers, restaurants and personalities throughout the state while capturing the character of the local food scene. WPT is a service of the Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Wisconsin Public Television is a place to grow through learning on WHA-TV, Madison; WPNE-TV, Green Bay; WHRM-TV, Wausau; WLEF-TV, Park Falls; WHLA-TV, La Crosse; and WHWC-TV, Menomonie-Eau Claire.
