PBS Wisconsin’s University Place will record, “The Milton House Museum: An Iconic Milton Structure,” a presentation by Kevin Scannell, public programs & outreach coordinator for the Milton House Museum. This free event is hosted by the Wisconsin Historical Society.

How did the town of Milton come to be, and what stories shaped the construction of the Milton House? Join Kevin Scannell as he explores the founding of Milton, the building of the Milton House and its role within the Underground Railroad’s Network to Freedom. The presentation will also examine the social and political climate of Wisconsin and the broader United States during the 1850s and 1860s.
