Coordinator of Event Volunteers
Brooke Day is the Coordinator of Event Volunteers at PBS Wisconsin, where she plays a pivotal role in fostering community engagement through volunteerism. With a passion for connecting people to meaningful causes, Brooke is responsible for recruiting, training and coordinating hundreds of volunteers for some of the station’s most prominent annual events, including the Garden & Green Living Expo, The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show and the PBS Wisconsin Auction. These large-scale events serve as key fundraising efforts and community celebrations, brought to life in part through the dedication of volunteers under Brooke’s leadership.
In her role, Brooke manages complex event logistics, ensuring that volunteer operations run smoothly and efficiently. She builds strong, lasting relationships with volunteers and community partners, offering guidance, training and constructive feedback to create positive and fulfilling volunteer experiences.
