Jumble Biscuits
Give your baked creation a name and tell us about your flavors. Also, what are you most proud of?
On Wisconsin Jumble Biscuits. I followed the The Great British Baking Show recipe for Jumble Biscuits and the flavors included caraway, anise, mace, and lemon. I attempted the marzipan challenge earlier in the week and it was a complete disaster. The Jumble Biscuits have restored my confidence in my baking skills.
The key to this week’s challenge is your creative presentation. Describe your display.
I thought and thought for several days about what form I could make the Jumble Biscuits that would reflect the Wisconsin theme for the week. Instead of Celtic knots or double knots, I decided to form my biscuits in the shape of the Badger Band W. I was once a proud mom of two Badger band members. So I included my t-shirt and a band letter in the display.
It’s Wisconsin Week, so you need to showcase a super Wisconsin twist to your recipe and/or arrangement. Tell us about it.
So, the Badger band W is a U shape with two vertical bars between. It makes for a thick, but, delicious biscuit. Great for dunking in my morning coffee.
How did you do?
Pleasantly satisfied.
