Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?
Oh my gosh… caramel is difficult to deal with, especially when you’re making a caramel from something that already has a lot of color. I didn’t have to make eight batches though. 😉 Only two.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
So, it is crazy hot and a lot of this cake is about cool smooth textures. It is light and refreshing on a hot day like we’ve been having. I also used local strawberries in – and on – the tart and local honey to make the caramel art.
