We're thrilled to have her sing for us. And, we'll do "Wau Bulan" and then "Kwela, Kwela." And I wanted to just take a moment before those last two pieces, as my colleagues have done, to thank all the people who have been responsible for making this one of the best and most productive and most useful and most joyous all-state experiences that I've had an opportunity to be a part of. Specifically this team of teachers I've had around me last summer and for the past two days, Jennifer Corcoran and Heather Thorpe and Kathryn McCray and Amelia Armstrong, our incredible accompanist, Karen Morrissey. I'm paying her extra for that Paulus piece. (audience applauding) But I wanted to share with you, many of whom are related to the incredible singers that are behind me, that from the moment they arrived this summer they have been focused, they've been committed, they've been joined together as a community. There has been no hierarchy. There have been no cliques. There has been nothing but joy and love among these singers. And even today, at four o'clock, when we were all so tired we could hardly see, I would give an instruction and they were on the edge of their seats looking at me, taking it all in. I just seldom have an experience like this. And as a college choral director, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and to the state of Wisconsin for supporting the arts in the schools. I know that as these students grow up and begin their college careers, many of them, that my job is secure and will be joyous as a result of their incredible talent. We hope you enjoy our piece from Malaysia called 'Wau Bulan" that we perform in (speaking in foreign language) style as they would in the country with something called hand dancing, and then as we finish with "Kwela, Kwela" from South Africa. ("Wau Bulan" arranged by Tracy Wong) (folk song sung in Malay) (audience cheering) ("Kwela, Kwela" arranged by Univ. of Pretoria) (sung in Zulu) (audience applauding)
