Well, farm equipment has been getting larger and heavier, and there are new concerns about the impact on state roads. The state agriculture and transportation departments are taking a close look at the impact of farm equipment on Wisconsin's rural roads. A study group has already made recommendations regarding the size and weight limit. They say it’s a matter of physics and safety. Public hearings were held this week in Madison in Stratford. With these additional meetings slated for Cashton, Green Bay and Chippewa Falls.
