WPT to Offer Live Coverage of Gov. Scott Walker's 2016 State of the State Address
Gov. Scott Walker's 2016 State of the State Address will air live 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 on Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) and will stream live online at wpt.org.
In the address, Gov. Walker will highlight priorities for 2016 before a joint session of the Wisconsin State Legislature in the State Capitol building.
WPT Here and Now anchor Frederica Freyberg and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) State Capitol Bureau Chief Shawn Johnson will co-anchor the coverage, which will include a minority party response from State Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca immediately following the address.
Live coverage of the 2016 State of the State Address will be broadcast 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19 on WPT, will stream on wpt.org, and will air on Wisconsin Public Radio's (WPR) Ideas Network and NPR News and Classical Music Network.
