"Kick it Up a Stitch," airing at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31 on WPT, is a fun-filled special featuring Nancy Zieman and Mary Mulari videotaped last year at the 2009 Quilt Expo in Madison.Zieman and her co-host take a break from the series side of sewing to show their silly side. Taped in front of an audience Zieman and Mulari, with the help of the Sewing With Nancy Band, share sewing tips and then "Kick it Up a Stitch" with saucy alternatives. The duo pairs sewing tips with unique recipes prepared with the help of sewing notions and seasoned with blonde jokes. Zieman is host and executive producer of the long-running public television series Sewing With Nancy, and president and producer of Nancy Zieman Productions LLC. She also is an author, pattern designer and home economist. Mulari, who has been a frequent guest on Sewing With Nancy, is the author of several sewing books and has designed a number of machine embroidery collections for her company Mary's Productions as well as other companies.
