Wisconsin Youth Invited to Enter PBS Kids Go! Writers Contest

Writers Contest. The contest offers young children an opportunity to use their creative storytelling, writing and drawing skills. Prizes are awarded in each grade level for achievement in writing and illustration. Winners from each grade level will be honored at a May awards ceremony to be held at the Sun Prairie Public Library. Contest rules and applications are available for download at wpt.org/kids or by phoning 608-265-5035. All entries must be received by Friday, March 25. The local PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest is sponsored by the Educational Communications Board and Wisconsin Public Television (WPT). Support for the contest in Dane County is provided by the Evjue Foundation. WPT is a service of the Educational Communications Board and University of Wisconsin-Extension.
