Registration Open for U.S. Senate Debate Audience in Wausau

Tammy Baldwin and Republican former Gov. Tommy Thompson in Wausau at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18. The debate at the UW Center for Civic Engagement on the UW-Marathon County campus will be broadcast statewide, and presented by the journalism partnership of Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Today's TMJ4, and the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service. Attendance is free and available by advance registration only. Online registration is available now through noon Oct. 8 at WisconsinVote.org. Telephone registration is available 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 5 and will be available at 715-261-6111. Admission will be allotted by way of a random drawing from all registrations received.
