PBS Wisconsin to broadcast two Concerts on the Square 

Concerts on the Square®, featuring the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra (WCO) under the baton of Music Director Andrew Sewell, returns to PBS Wisconsin for two concerts at 6 p.m. Saturdays, July 16 and 23 with two performances from the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison.

Broadcast statewide on PBS Wisconsin July 16, WCO presents Reflections on Liberty featuring the world premiere of "Testimony of Tone, Tune and Time" by Dr. Bill Banfield. The concert, which will be filmed during the live July 13 performance in Madison, includes new work from artist-in-resident Banfield, as well as music featuring guest artists Leotha and Tamera Stanley & Friends and the Middleton High School Choir. 

Broadcast statewide on PBS Wisconsin July 23, WCO presents The Planets & Ho-Chunk with Elliott Funmaker and the Wisconsin Dells Singers & Dancers. The concert will include a land acknowledgment of the Ho-Chunk Nation’s ancestral lands. The WCO will celebrate the rich traditions, heritage and culture that thrived long before the arrival of European settlers in Wisconsin. The concert will be filmed during the live July 20 performance in Madison and includes guest performances from flutist Darren Thompson and Elliott Funmaker and The Wisconsin Dells Singers & Dancers.
