The first episode of the new season of In Wisconsin on Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) features reports on a mysterious toxic waste hazard in Ashland, a clash between bear hunters and wolves, the 100th anniversary of "On, Wisconsin" and the beauty of St. Peter's Dome in Mellen. The newsmagazine, hosted by Patty Loew, airs at its new time, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 on WPT and is available in high definition. WPT will present encores of the program at 10:30 the same evening and 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10. Milwaukee's MPTV will air the program at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10.
