What is the PBS Wisconsin Community Survey?

PBS Wisconsin is committed to listening, learning, and improving. Our Community Survey is one way we gather information about how and why people across Wisconsin interact with our broadcast and digital content as well as our events, news services, community engagement efforts, educational resources, and more. Information from this annual survey will shape future PBS Wisconsin content and services.

Who can participate in the survey?

The Community Survey is open to the public. We encourage anyone who engages with our work on any level to participate in this annual survey. If there are multiple people in a household, they can each participate in the survey.

Why should I participate in the Community Survey?

The Community Survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts and opinions about PBS Wisconsin in order to help us improve our service to the communities of Wisconsin. Too, you can share your ideas for new programs, events, and resources as well as how to improve existing ones.

When can I participate in the survey?

The 2025 Community Survey is open from April 20 to May 31, 2025. No submissions will be accepted after 11:59 pm on May 31, 2025.

Why is PBS Wisconsin doing this survey?

We need your feedback to shape our content and services. Data from the Community Survey will provide us with a deeper and richer understanding of how communities across the state learn about us, perceive our mission, and value our work. The data collected through this survey will be used for evaluation purposes only. Responses may be shared, but not in a way that allows respondents to be personally identified.

When and how will survey results be shared?

Key observations from the Community Survey will be shared in the fall on our website About pages. Key survey observations will also appear in the PBS Wisconsin Annual Report.
