6 Chocolate Tea Cakes
Give your biscuits a name and tell us about your recipe.
Toddler Tea Cakes. I gave them that name for various reasons. First, I did most of the creation while my toddler was napping. But also, they had a temper (of chocolate of course), and I must have measured the salt incorrectly, because they were a bit salty. But despite all that, and the fact that they weren't perfect because I made them in a muffin pan instead of the round one, they were still incredibly sweet and nice. Kind of like my toddler 😉
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
I generally adhere to the recipe, but I might mix a few recipes together to make my final product. In this case, I tried to follow Paul's recipe as closely as I could.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
Instead of golden syrup, I used corn syrup, and Wisconsin is one of the leading producers of corn.
How did you do?
It’s not pretty, but it’s edible.
