Drizzle Cake (with Jaffa Flavors!)

Give your cake a name based on the ingredients and decoration – and tell us about the origin of your recipe.

Chocolate Orange Drizzle Cake. Since Sefia and Aila are not fans of the classic lemon drizzle cake, we went in search of a chocolate alternative. When we stumbled upon a Jaffa inspired drizzle cake recipe, we thought it was the perfect solution! We used the BBC Good Food recipe online and converted the measurements from metric, or close enough.

Tell us about your proudest moment – or humble failure – in this week’s baking challenge.

As a mom, I was so proud of my little bakers every step of the way! They did a wonderful job of putting everything together, with just a little help.

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

We used Wisconsin butter and milk in our cake.
