What was your favorite thing about The Great Wisconsin Baking challenge overall (whether you participated in one or all challenges)? What did you learn from this final challenge? What are you most proud of when it comes to your bake?
I loved following along with the show’s contestants and then trying the bakes myself. It always looks easier when someone is going through the process. Being challenged to try the bakes myself gave me a greater respect for what the contestants were faced with each week. This final challenge gave me practice in converting from British measurements to U.S. measurements and figuring out how to make my own jam sugar. I was proud of how my homemade jam turned out, keeping its form so that I could successfully layer my sandwich.

The raspberries used in this final bake were fresh from our local farmers market. The butter and cream used in the recipe were products of Wisconsin dairies.
