Rogue all the way baby! Recipes are suggestions in my opinion. They’re a great place to start but then it’s time to have some fun and make it your own!
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.
This Beautiful (and difficult!) Eight-Strand Plaited Loaf pays homage to the spicy cheese bread you can find at the Dane County Farmers’ Market. I added some more Wisconsin twists by utilizing a local brew from Karben 4 Brewing called Fantasy Factory and local pepper jack cheese from Weyauwega. To get the kids involved I sent them out to the garden and told them to pick every jalapeño they could find – they did NOT disappoint! The result is a wonderfully spicy and cheesy bread, with a great crust! Thank goodness it’s big… I think I have to share!
