Gingerbread Structure

Give your biscuits a name and tell us about your recipe.

The Allen Bradley Clock Gingerbread Tower. I wanted to make something a little bit on the simple side that would represent Wisconsin. To put all the pieces together, I used royal icing. Mine does look very nice but simple.

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

I stuck to the baking recipe. The only thing that I didn’t follow was the baking time. The recipe called for about 10 – 12 minutes. I did mine for about 15 minuets.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I used eggs from the farmers market for the royal icing and dough, butter from Organic Valley and ground ginger from Penzeys spices.
