What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
I've never baked anything like this before, so it was all new to me. My dish is a bit too wide and shallow, which made the layers thin. I should have let the berries cook down more and been more careful with the meringue in the oven. On the plus side, it still tastes good.
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
I used fresh red and black raspberries from my mother-in-law's garden here in the Green Bay area.
