Bucky Potter’s Treacle Tart – We started with Mary Berry’s recipe for Treacle Tart as our starting point. We switched up the filling a bit due to a Golden Syrup shortage. Instead of the traditional lattice top, we cut a W and added Harry Potter’s scar and initials, hand cut by Ainsley. To top it off, we served it with Sassy Cow Heavy Whipped Cream.
Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?
Well, the crust on this is very delicate. Take great care! Plus, it’s not a flavor that will be a favorite of everyone.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
We served Sassy Cow heavy whipped cream – which was our highlight. Of course, we opted for some Wisconsin presentation points with the W and of course, Bucky Potter. As you can see, we are huge Harry Potter and Bucky fans in our house.
