For over 50 years, the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) State Honors Music Project has provided students from across the state the opportunity to rehearse and perform with nationally recognized conductors in a professional setting.

PBS Wisconsin is proud to present the 2024 WSMA State Honors Concerts, which celebrates the incredible talent of young musicians from across our state, 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25 on PBS Wisconsin.

The broadcast presentation will feature interviews and highlights of each performance. Enjoy a sneak preview of performances from the five amazing ensemble concerts right now!

Each performance is the culmination of months of diligent effort beginning with an intensive summer camp, followed by hours of disciplined self-study. Students then have one full day to rehearse together before taking the stage at Overture Center for the Arts, led by talented guest conductors from around the country.
