The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra returns to the Wisconsin State Capitol this summer for Concerts on the Square and is partnering with PBS Wisconsin to bring one of the performances to audiences around the state. The concert will air 9 p.m. Monday, July 22 on PBS Wisconsin followed by an encore presentation at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27 and will be available on pbswisconsin.org.

The program will include the first performance of Maestro Andrew Sewell and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra’s 41st season of Concerts on the Square from Wednesday, June 26, 2024 with guest artist Tiempo Libre. Melding classical music with soul-stirring rhythms of Latin jazz, Tiempo Libre is a Grammy-nominated Afro-Caribbean band that delights young and old alike with their infectious high energy sound.

The series of Wednesday night concerts are free and open for music revelers to come and enjoy — usually along with a picnic dinner. The music is always top-notch and the guest performers dazzle with their talents.
